here was finally a forecast of swell coming our way. Our plan was to hit Banderas Bay when the swell did. Banderas Bay is a very large and beautiful Bay. From Punta Mita at the North-west point to Puerta Vallarta you can find point break after point break when there is swell. Some of the best breaks you can really only access by boat. We ended up surfing some excellent waves with no crowds for three days. When we were not surfing we were trying to patch our dinghy, which has been an ongoing battle the whole trip. We also made the first attempt at kite surfing the Panga. We met some new friends on a boat named Wildflower, Virginia and Todd happened to have a kite on board. I’d like to say it was a success but unfortunately we where unable to get the kite to fly. I’m sure attempt two will be more successful.
